HSE Offshore Representative

About the role

The HSE Offshore Representative will act as TotalEnergies' on‑site HSE focal point aboard the installation vessel for the GranMorgu Project in Suriname. The role ensures that all HSSE contractual and technical requirements are applied by contractors and subcontractors during offshore operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily HSSE activities on the vessel (J‑Lay, S‑Lay, PLSV, MSV) and ensure compliance with TotalEnergies HSE standards.
• Conduct routine and random HSSE inspections, report anomalies, and follow up corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the Operation Safety Leader, Contractor, and Sub‑contractor HSSE authorities on safety matters.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly HSSE reports, maintain KPI indicators and ensure proper incident investigations.
• Participate in KOM, HIRA, PTW, toolbox talks, safety committees and audits.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in offshore HSE supervision and contractor management.
• Strong knowledge of statutory and company H3SEQ standards and safety culture.
• Ability to act as a focal point during emergencies and to communicate effectively with site representatives.
