Vice President Finance – Insurance & Investments

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President Finance to lead financial planning, reporting and strategic finance across our insurance, investment and asset‑management businesses. Reporting to the Group CFO, the role will partner with business‑unit CEOs, investment leaders and risk teams to drive profitability, capital efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management for insurance and investment units.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, management accounts and financial analysis.
• Provide FP&A and commercial finance insights to senior management.
• Monitor revenue, profitability, margins, cash flow and return on capital.
• Support insurance finance including premium income, claims, reserves and underwriting performance.
• Oversee investment and asset‑management reporting, valuation and performance metrics.
• Assist Group‑level capital planning, solvency, liquidity and balance‑sheet management.
• Manage treasury requirements, cash flow, funding and working‑capital efficiency.
• Ensure strong financial controls, accounting policies, governance frameworks and internal‑control procedures.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and meet regulatory reporting obligations.
• Provide financial analysis and modelling for M&A, strategic investments and new product initiatives.
• Identify cost‑optimization and operational‑efficiency opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs and business‑performance analytics.
• Lead finance transformation projects involving ERP, automation and data analytics.
• Support Board presentations, investor reporting and major financial decisions.
• Lead, coach and develop finance managers, controllers and other finance professionals.

Required profile

• 12–18+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in insurance, investment or asset‑management environments.
• Proven senior leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with CFOs, CEOs and senior stakeholders.
• Strong track record of driving profitability, capital efficiency and regulatory compliance.
