Laravel & React Developer (Remote – Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking an experienced Laravel and React developer to join its fast‑growing, fully remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. You will work on high‑impact projects, building modern web applications that combine robust Laravel back‑ends with dynamic React front‑ends.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel (v8+) applications, including APIs and server‑side logic.
• Implement responsive user interfaces using React (or Vue.js/Livewire) and integrate them via Inertia.js.
• Write automated tests with Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, and Playwright to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with product owners and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, estimate tasks, and take ownership of delivery timelines.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel (v8 or newer).
• Strong knowledge of Eloquent ORM, Laravel authentication, and query builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest, PHPUnit, Dusk, or Playwright.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and using Inertia.js.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate extreme ownership, and align with client goals.
