Dutch Language Expert – AI Content Reviewer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Dutch Language Expert to work remotely as an hourly contractor. You will review AI‑generated Dutch content, create high‑quality reference material, and provide detailed feedback to improve the performance of large language models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop prompts and gold‑standard Dutch answers across domains such as general knowledge, customer support, education, and conversational writing.
• Evaluate and rank AI outputs for fluency, correctness, tone, cultural appropriateness, and factual accuracy.
• Detect unsafe, misleading, or biased content and flag hallucinated claims.
• Write clear rewrites and model answers that illustrate best practices in Dutch writing.
• Provide step‑by‑step reasoning and written feedback in English for each evaluated item.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Linguistics, Dutch/English Literature, Communications, Journalism, Translation, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Native or near‑native proficiency in Dutch (reading and writing) and professional‑level English (minimum C1).
• At least 3 years of professional experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, or education.
• Deep knowledge of Dutch grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style, with ability to explain errors and corrections.
• Experience with AI data training/annotation, translation QA, editorial QA, or rubric‑based evaluation is strongly preferred.
