HSE Offshore Representative

About the role

Airswift is looking for an experienced HSE Offshore Representative to join a major Oil & Gas project offshore Suriname. The role starts in February 2027 on a rotational schedule (35 days on/35 days off) and runs until the end of 2028.

Key responsibilities

• Track, monitor and supervise HSSE activities of contractors and subcontractors on the installation vessel.
• Apply company HSE standards, ensure approved procedures are followed, and manage changes during offshore operations.
• Supervise all offshore operations on vessels such as J‑Lay, S‑Lay, PLSV and MSV.
• Act as the company’s focal point on board, liaising with the Site Representative and handling emergencies.
• Demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding H3SEQ rules and actively participate in safety awareness programs.

Required profile

• Offshore Engineer or Supervisor with extensive oil & gas experience, especially in SURF.
• Knowledge of Suriname offshore regulations, marine operations, environmental and regulatory standards.
• In‑depth understanding of SIMOPS and HSE standards, with experience on major EPCI projects.
• Strong problem‑identification and analytical skills covering HSE, technical, logistics and cost aspects.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
